Bill Barreire is a registered professional engineer in Colorado with over 24 years of extensive experience in geotechnical engineering, construction inspection, materials testing, and environmental services. At Vivid Engineering, Bill’s expertise spans a diverse range of industries including transportation, energy, utilities, water resources, and both public and private development projects.

Bill has successfully managed projects of all sizes, from small commercial developments to multi-billion-dollar transportation design-build ventures. His technical proficiency covers engineering design, large-scale earthwork, foundation systems, earth retention, pavement design, dam construction, and utility installation. His leadership and deep knowledge provide clients with confidence in delivering projects that meet the highest standards for safety and performance.

With over 30 years of diverse experience, Steven Jeffords serves as Vice President and CFO at Vivid Engineering, bringing expertise in program management, financial oversight, environmental management, and business operations. Steve was a pivotal force in establishing Vivid Engineering as a legal entity in 2016, where he successfully built essential banking, accounting, human resources, and insurance relationships, driving the company’s growth and sustainability.

Steve has managed programs up to $250M for both public and private clients, overseeing engineering operations with teams of up to 130 personnel and generating $25M in annual revenue. His expertise spans environmental and engineering consulting for the transportation, municipal, water, and private sectors. He plays a key role in ensuring environmental compliance, leading contract negotiations, and maintaining financial health, all while prioritizing client satisfaction. His strategic leadership supports Vivid Engineering’s long-term success and operational excellence.

Danny Bennett brings 18 years of expertise in heavy civil construction and engineering consulting to his leadership role at Vivid Engineering. His skill set includes operations management, project management, construction quality oversight, auditing, and structural inspection. Danny has successfully provided construction inspection and testing services across diverse sectors, including water, energy, commercial, and government projects, with a particular focus on large-scale transportation infrastructure.

Danny’s notable achievements include working on high-profile projects like CDOT’s T-REX design-build project in Denver and MoDOT’s I-29/35 design-build. He recently led a team of 60 inspectors, testers, engineers, and environmental specialists, overseeing $30.5M in consulting fees for the $2.1B EAGLE P3/Design-build commuter rail project from downtown Denver to Denver International Airport. His leadership and expertise ensure that projects are delivered with top-tier quality and compliance.

Derek Lindvall, a registered professional engineer in Colorado with 27 years of experience, leads Vivid Engineering’s Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and FHWA Central Federal Lands programs. Specializing in delivering transportation projects, Derek ensures success for clients by providing high-quality construction services and top-tier talent on projects ranging from under $1M to over $100M in construction value.

Derek is instrumental in Vivid’s strategic planning, focusing on pursuing new project opportunities and building strong client relationships. His passion for construction oversight has driven his involvement in a wide range of CDOT and municipal projects across Colorado. Active in the professional community, Derek co-chaired the transportation subcommittee for ACEC Colorado, where he earned recognition as Co-chair of the Year. He currently serves on the Board of Directors as the Southern Colorado Director for ACEC Colorado.
