Denver International Airport, 8500 Peña Boulevard, Denver, CO 80249
Denver International Airport is in the middle of a sustained building program — terminal and concourse renovations, new ground transportation facilities, and upgrades to utility vaults and operations buildings — nearly all of it inside secured, high-traffic areas that never close. Before any of that work can begin, the City and County of Denver needs to know what is in the walls, ceilings, and soils that construction will disturb.<br />

Vivid Engineering provides ongoing environmental testing and assessment at DEN under an on-call contract with the City and County of Denver. Our work has included asbestos and mold testing, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, lead-based paint inspections, industrial hygiene consulting, and personal exposure air monitoring for projects such as the former toll plaza on Peña Boulevard, the Ground Transportation Facility, terminal stairwells, Xcel vaults in several concourses, and the entire Airport Operations Building. We sample and test for asbestos in buildings and soils, analyze lead-based paint, and design abatement or containment methods when needed — coordinating every entry through secured areas so airport operations are never disrupted.
